About

The club meets once a month, usually on the fourth Wednesday, in addition to organizing periodic field trips to private and public gardens and other special events. No meetings are held in July and August.

Most meetings feature invited speakers, who cover topics ranging across many aspects of gardening, horticulture, and the natural world. We have welcomed experts from many public and private institutions, such the Smithsonian, local government, universities, Master Gardener programs, and public gardens.

Club purposes

  • To enhance members’ knowledge and love of gardening
